Our management service capability encompasses all stages of a project from planning, design, procurement and construction to on maintenance phases. Our program managers are experienced in managing a portfolio of interconnecting projects and looking at the ‘bigger picture’ for our clients and their business requirements, including managing contingency. We are experienced in developing contract documentation for schedule of rates, design and construct and guaranteed maximum sum contracts. Our expertise includes contract administration of these forms of contracts and also the establishment of major alliance contracts. We hold Government Contract Administration prequalification, through our 3rd party certified management system.

Our program managers are experienced in managing a portfolio of interconnecting projects and looking at the ‘bigger picture’ for our clients and their business needs. We believe the key to program management success is managing contingency, identifying it, reporting on it regularly, keeping it separate from projects and identifying who owns the contingency.
Contract Administration
Harrison Infrastructure Group is an organisation that has the ability to adapt and operate under different contract forms. The key to our success is our ability to build effective relationships with clients and contractors, but not lose sight of the contractual form.

Land Acquisition
Defining and managing land acquisition for infrastructure projects is a complex and difficult activity. The acquisition of land from private landholders and business owners, if not managed sensitively, can cause significant delays to a project. We have successfully managed the acquisition of land on several significant infrastructure projects.
Our success is based upon our knowledge of relevant government legislation, including the Acquisition of Land Act 1967 and the Transport Infrastructure Act 1994. The knowledge of this legislation accompanied with our ability to empathise with effected property owners makes us the right choice to undertake your land acquisition requirements.
Our staff have also successfully negotiated internal government agency land transactions and government to government land transactions. This has required high level negotiation skills as current government legislation provides limited leverage.
Procurement Strategy
Advice
If the right procurement strategy is not selected for your project then you may not get the result you require. One procurement strategy does not suit all projects. The strategy needs to be determined based on how best to achieve the project objectives, effective management of risk, maximisation of any opportunities and consideration of all key issues surrounding the project.
We do not have all of the answers. We work with our clients in a workshop environment to determine the suitable strategies to deliver their project. Our team has had a wide range of experience on schedule of rates contracts, design and construct, alliance and guaranteed maximum sum contract.
Risk Management
Based on AS4360, Harrison Infrastructure Group adopts a straight forward approach to risk management. We have the expertise to deliver risk management strategies - from broad strategic risks to detailed project risks. We work with the client and their project team to establish the context of risks, identify potential risks, analyse the agreed risks, evaluate and rank the risks, develop risk mitigation strategies and manage the ongoing monitoring of the risks. To ensure the risk management strategies are effective, we regularly review the outcomes of the mitigation strategies and determine whether any new risks are likely to appear. This is completed in an environment of effective communication and consultation with those who are best equipped to provide input into the risk management process.
