Celebrating Our Team at OUR Companywide Symposiums

At HIG, we recognise that our people are our greatest asset, and equally important are the families who support them every step of the way.

Every two years, we bring our team and their families together to celebrate our achievements, recognise outstanding contributions, strengthen connections across our offices, and reflect on the journey that has made HIG what it is today. Our Symposium is a longstanding tradition that continues to grow with each event, reinforcing the culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous learning and professional development that underpins our success.

Here's a snapshot of our recent Symposium held at Sea World Resort, where team members and families from across our five offices came together for a weekend of innovation, conversation and celebration:

🏅 33 team members celebrated for their outstanding contribution to our Project of the Year, the Paradise Dam Improvement Project 

🏅 Justin Ballantyne presented with the HIG Merit Award 

🏅 David Higgins awarded our coveted HIG Excellence Award 

🥂 A celebratory buffet dinner featuring a special guest presentation from Olympic Champion, Steven Bradbury
