We’re proud to have been awarded the detailed design for Stage 1 of the East West Connector by Livingstone Shire Council.
This stage will deliver 2 km of new road, including a signalised intersection and all necessary technical investigations and approvals – creating a shovel-ready project that supports future growth across the Capricorn Coast.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with Livingstone Shire Council on this important project, helping to enhance connectivity, support local jobs, and deliver lasting benefits for the community.
We’re excited to announce that the tender for the detailed design for Stage 1 of the East West Connector has officially been awarded to Harrison Infrastructure Group Rockhampton.
This first stage will cover 2 km of new road, including a signalised intersection, and includes all technical investigations and approvals – making it a shovel-ready project.
Stage 1 will create a vital link between Hidden Valley and key residential and business areas, supporting new housing, local jobs, and better connections across the Capricorn Coast.
Construction is planned to start in mid-2026, bringing us one step closer to a safer, faster, and more connected region.
💡 This project is all about building infrastructure for our growing community – and it’s a big step forward for Livingstone!
