As part of the event, we proudly committed our support to BRAKE Australia, Transurban’s charity partner for the 2026 Transurban Bridge to Brisbane

💡Did you know? Road crashes remain one of the major causes of death and serious injury for young Australians. National road safety data shows that road crashes account for around a quarter of all deaths in the 15 to 24 age group. BRAKE exists to help change this through evidence-based school education focused on judgement, responsibility, peer pressure, distraction, passenger behaviour and safer decision making. At HIG, we believe that supporting young driver safety and helping more schools to access road safety education is vital as students become independent drivers. BRAKE is an organisation that we’re proud to get behind.

For the run, we donned our green shirts and joined Team Transurban. After the run, our team enjoyed the Transurban VIP Area, which included a massage, hot breakfast and plenty of welcomed recovery. We thank Transurban for putting on an incredible event, enjoyed by so many.
