Turbine Deliveries Commence for Wambo Wind Farm

The Wambo Wind Farm project has reached a significant milestone with the delivery of the turbine components commencing.

HIG has undertaken designs for road modifications at 38 sites between the Port of Brisbane and the Wambo Wind Farm site near Jandowae to allow delivery of the oversize components.  Construction of road upgrade works are scheduled to be completed by early 2025, which will provide access to all turbine locations.

The HIG project team are to be commended for their hard work and dedication over the last two years.
